The brief
Our client, a family in Sandbach had an attached garage with plenty of potential, they just needed someone to do something with it. They wanted a space to work out in, and a utility area with appliances, sink and worktop. With, the possibility of turning the gym area into an office later on.
What we built
We split the garage into two separate spaces. Fully insulated floor throughout, topped with gym flooring and a fully tiled floor in the utility area. We also added additional electrical sockets to future proof it for potential office use in the future. The utility side got a sink, worktop, kitchen units along with radiators to both rooms.
Externally: two new double-glazed windows, internal doors, external door and vent for expel air.
Inside: full perimeter insulation, plasterboard, skim finish, six double sockets, ten spotlights, and a full paint finish.
In addition to the internal work we boarded out the loft space which also included shelving units to maximise the space.
